We have updated our Health Information Privacy Statement in line with the changes to the Privacy Act that come into effect today, 01 May 2026. The updated law means that we need to let you know about health information we receive about you indirectly (from someone other than yourself). This includes information from other health care providers or services like hospitals, laboratories and radiology providers. If you visit a health provider and tell them that we are your medical centre, we may receive health information from them as part of your care. Your health record belongs to you. You can see it, ask us to correct it, and find out how it’s been used.
