Many of our patients will be aware already that Manage My Health experienced a security breach at the end of 2025 in which some patient documents were accessed.
Although we changed our patient portal from Manage My Health almost 2 years ago, we have now been made aware that 147 of our patients have been impacted by the recent MMH security breach.
Unfortunately, we have been given limited information and do not know what documents have been accessed. We understand that some of our impacted patients have been contacted by MMH already. If your MMH account has been impacted, MMH either has or will contact you directly and will be able to provide you with further information and an 0800 number to contact if you have further queries or concerns.
The patient portal we now use, Well, is not affected by this breach, and we wish to reiterate that Well does not upload and store your health records from our practice management system in the same way that MMH would. If you have any concerns about the security of your health data with Well, you can read their privacy policy here and their FAQs here.
We will do our best to provide support and answer your queries. If you have been impacted by the MMH breach and wish to discuss this, please reach out to our practice manager Laura Fenton at manager@ttmc.co.nz.
